Leg up Leggings!!!!

Here we go…….the MUST HAVE BOTTOMS of the season!

So first things first ladies,  Leggings are not true pants, more a hosiery/pant combination…I say this again, a hosiery/pant combination! So let us be sure that we are wearing these comfy bottoms with tops and dresses that cover our rumps and tumms (tummies for those not accustomed to my made up fashion vocabulary!). I will show some celebrity looks that I feel highlight the figure yet allow us to keep a stylish and comfy look!

Rhianna shows us how to dress up these faux leather leggings with a feather embellished blazer. This was a very popular look she wore a few years back but the theory stays true!

7. Actress/dancer Jenna Dewan Tatum, married to Channing Tatum, matched her tight leggings with a short metallic dress. Nice!

Jenna Dewan Tatum shows how this “half-tight” variation of leggings looks great with a mini dress in the winter!

Kim Kardashian fab as always in her basic black legging, over the knee boots and a blazer paired with a comfy top.

Sienna Miller in a fun poncho and jeggings!

Take these looks and make them your own! Enjoy leggings in a tasteful, sophisticated yet darn comfy way!!!!

I know I will….

Mucho Poncho!!!

The season is here for Ponchos, Ruanas and Capes!!! I love the cozy feel of an over-sized wooley sheet on me when I am eating hearty food, it truly conceals! Lol! But honestly the over-sized look with skinny jeans and boots is all the rage and rightly so! Turn a casual t-shirt and jeans into an elegant dinner ensemble or an equestrian country chic outfit! Here are my faves so far…truly too many  hits to chose from! Cheers!

'Double Plaid' Reversible Ruana

Accessory street $68

'Danijo' Structured Poncho

Spring shoes mean ESPADRILLES!!!

These summer shoes come in so many different styles and heights that everyone should be able to find one…or a few! Men and women can find a form of this shoe that originated as a beach shoe in Spain centuries ago.

These are some of my favorite espadrilles:

Tory Burch 'Jackie' Wedge Espadrille

Tory Burch Jackie Espadrille $225

Jimmy Choo 'Pallis' Wedge Sandal (Nordstrom Exclusive)

Jimmy Choo Pallis Wedge $250

I am obsessed with my item of the day! This versatile jacket is perfect to wear all year round. Start now in the Spring to transisition from our black and grey staples from the fall and winter by adding this crisp, well tailored, contemporary jacket. Wear it closed and hooked or open and relaxed, this jacket is a fine pairing for pants and skirts with its high back. Well worth every penny!
